Lt Talha and 8 soldiers injured
An army major was killed in an Improvised Explosive Device explosion in Wana area of South Waziristan Agency on Tuesday.
Eight other soldiers were injured in the blast, which occurred during a cordon search operation.
The slain soldier was identified as Major Imran.
